Many Nottingham Forest fans have reacted to the news that Charlie Austin is set to miss Queens Park Rangers' next three games through suspension.

It comes after Austin appeared to stamp on Reds midfielder Ryan Yates in the 3-1 win for Forest at the City Ground on Easter Monday.

Austin looked to step back onto Yates' chest following a challenge in the middle of the park, which went unnoticed at the time by officials.

But a couple of days later, the FA rewatched the footage and gave Austin a day to respond to a charge of violent conduct, to which the player declined.

But after providing evidence, it has now emerged that Austin has been charged and will miss the next three games due to violent conduct.

It was an impressive afternoon's work for Forest and the incident didn't affect the result at all. Goals from Alex Mighten, Lewis Grabban and James Garner saw Forest fly into a 3-0 lead, before Lyndon Dykes headed in a late consolation for 3-1.

Here, we take a look at Forest fans' reactions to the latest and final update on the Austin saga...
