Middlesbrough v Leeds has been spoken about at great length today and the game isn't even scheduled to kick off until tomorrow night!

Crucially, though, it is still set to go ahead at the Riverside despite the weather that has descended on the north east of this country.

For sure, it's going to remain touch and go between now and kick-off in terms of the game going ahead with more poor weather on the way but, clearly, Boro are determined that the show goes on.

As per their official website, they've revealed their plans to keep things as planned after spending yesterday and today clearing the snow from the pitch and surrounding area.

Meanwhile, police and the club have liaised to talk public safety and, to this point, things have been given the green light.

What tonight brings on Teesside could decide things, then, but after all this effort you can guarantee they'll do their best to keep it on tomorrow as well.

The Verdict

It's impressive what Boro have done so far and they're bound to keep working through the night and into tomorrow.

It's a big game and with it being spoken about at great length beforehand, let's hope it lives up to the billing and is worth being held after all of this.
