West Brom will be hoping that this January window provides the opportunity for them to improve their squad as they look to get back into the Premier League.

The Baggies have had a good season up to this point with their attacking prowess certainly proving too hot for many opposing teams to handle.

They are still off of top spot, though, and so in the remaining games of the campaign they will be looking to close that small gap to the likes of Norwich and Leeds United.

New signings might be able to help them do that this month, then, but in one recent report it seems as though some bad news could be on the way.

This would be a sizeable blow to the Hawthorns based outfit for obvious reasons.
