Reading youngster Danny Loader could be set to follow fellow England youngster Jadon Sancho to Germany with a host of clubs chasing the forward who has been in impressive form this season for the Royals.

Loader, the 18-year-old striker, has been in prolific form for Reading's Under-23s this season and scored for England Under-19s against Moldova on Wednesday evening to take his campaign tally for club and country to 15 for the season.

According to the Daily Mail, the game was watched by scouts from Borussia Monchengladbach, Hertha Berlin, and Wolfsburg who are all keen on signing the Reading youngster.

Many have tipped Loader to follow in the footsteps of former England teammate, Jadon Sancho, who made his first start for the senior side against USA on Thursday evening.

Royals boss, Paul Clement seems reluctant to use the Reading youngster who is yet to make a start for the struggling Berkshire-based side.

But Loader is considered as the club's brightest young prospect to come through the Reading academy since Gylfi Sigurdsson and he will be keen to prove himself in senior football, having not been given a chance this season for the Championship side.

The youngster was also part of the England Under 17's side that won the World Cup, and he will be eager to make a name for himself in the near future.

If Reading have any ambition going forward, then they will tie Loader down to a new-deal as quickly as possible, to put an end to interest from top European clubs.

The Verdict:

For Reading fans, this is hugely frustrating news.

Many Reading fans have been calling for Loader to start for the senior side but Paul Clement seems to favour starting more experienced players this season, which evidently isn't working.

The Royals are facing a relegation battle this season, and there would be no better time than now for Clement to experiment with his squad and give the England youngster a chance.

I wouldn't begrudge Loader of a move as it could be the very start of an excellent career and he has already proved himself both at youth level and on the international stage.
