According to Birmingham Live, Jonathan Kodjia will be out of action until at least May with his latest injury for Aston Villa.

The striker has been a favourite of Villa fans but got an ankle injury last season that ended his campaign short. This season, once he returned, he seemed to be off the pace a bit and then he aggravated the injury - leaving him out for a long time once more.

Indeed, he is out until the end of the season by the looks of things and surely only a very miraculous recovery will see him return to action before the campaign ends.

Even if he does get fit, though, the Villans will surely be against risking him - especially with Lewis Grabban to now call on and Scott Hogan potentially still in form by then.

Kodjia, then, will surely have a watching brief for the rest of this season as he surely hopes his team-mates can secure a return to the Premier League for 2018/19.

Whatever happens, though, it'll be a big summer for him as he looks to prove his fitness and that he has fully recovered from an injury that is really starting to cause big problems.
