Stat guru, Goodbrand Stats (@StatsChristian), has revealed some of the numbers behind Millwall’s incredible record at The Den recently, as Neil Harris’ side continue to excel on their return to the Sky Bet Championship.
Millwall secured promotion to the Championship via the play-offs last season, and have impressed on their return to the second-tier, with their home form particularly impressive. @StatsChristian’s latest reveal shows just how impressive that home form has been over the last 25 fixtures.
In the Lions’ last 25 fixtures at The Den, which have come in League One and the Championship, Millwall have lost on just three occasions, picking up 17 victories and five draws in that period of time. Further stats show they have scored 40 goals and conceded just 15, with an impressive 16 clean sheets during that period.

Millwall climbed to 15th in the Championship table on Saturday evening, having recorded a 2-0 victory over Birmingham City at The Den. An own goal from Maxime Colin opened the scoring for Harris’ side, before Ryan Tunnicliffe secured all three points in the 76th minute.
The Lions have 16 points from their opening 13 fixtures of the season after a strong start. Millwall’s ability to pick up points away from home will be tested in the coming weeks, with Harris’ side travelling to Cardiff City and Sheffield Wednesday between now and the end of October.
This highlights how intimidating a trip to Millwall can be, with The Den perhaps the trickiest away day in the Championship at this current time.
Not many teams go to Millwall and come away with a positive result, with Harris’ side well organised at home.
Millwall’s home form should be enough to guide them to a mid-table finish in the Championship, but if they have any ambition of pushing into the top-ten, improving away from home will be essential.
