Chris Kirchner has revealed he is considering pulling out of a deal to buy Derby County as he expressed his frustration at the lack of progress that has been made.
Frustration. Little to no progress in last 40 days. We submitted an offer committing over £60M initially over the next two years to turn things around on Dec 9 (another of their fake deadlines) and have had very little engagement.I’m discussing with my team whether we continue

The American businessman’s interest in the Rams is well known, with boss Wayne Rooney revealing previously that he hopes Kirchner is successful with his bid.
However, there was a stumbling block in the process yesterday, as the administrators didn’t reveal their preferred bidder – as had been expected.
And, taking to Twitter, Kirchner would explain how he annoyed he has been at how the situation is playing out, as he warned that talks are taking place as to whether they should withdraw the offer.
Have any of these 30 ex-Derby County players ever played abroad?
The prospect of Kirchner walking away has worried many Derby fans, who are understandably also hugely frustrated at the fact serious strides aren’t been made to bring in new owners.
Here we look at some of the reaction from Twitter…

Told you all, they are looking for a bit of extra cash. Using his bid as bait, hoping more offers come in and using that as an excuse to delay proceedings. If we have to sell players, will they take some of that as “petty” cash. https://t.co/X5PD4xQlB5

Nice one Quantuma. At this rate you can get us liquidated. https://t.co/9cczkWeMtB

Well here we go.. typical Derby saga continues. I think we all fear that this isn’t going the way it was optimistically portrayed by the administrators. Are they really doing what’s best for the club or just making sure they get £3-4m in fees? #dcfc https://t.co/7HlptaOdUw
