Leeds United have been mixing it with the big-boys at the top of the Championship table all season, and Garry Monk's side rightly deserve the opportunity to have a go at the play-offs come the end of the campaign.

The Whites have been extremely solid at both ends of the pitch this season and with the help of Chris Wood's free-scoring form and Pontus Jansson and Kyle Bartley forming one of the most formidable partnerships in the division, they've stayed in the top-six for the past three months.

And after the impressive 2-0 win over Brighton last weekend, few can argue Monk doesn't deserve his first big shot at silverware in management, having succeeded where so few Leeds managers have in the past decade or so.

But moving forward, there's thought amongst supporters that there are players in this squad that might deserve another chance in the first-team, especially with a busy handful of games left to play as May rolls around.

So with that in mind, here's TWO Leeds United players that need to be given another chance to shine in the first-team...

Kalvin Phillips

The jury is still out on young midfielder Kalvin Phillips, who remains a very raw talent in the middle-of-the-park.

Unfortunately for the Whites, promotion-pushing form isn't helped by throwing young players into the mix for key games and he's been held back by Monk, who has preferred the likes of Viera, O'Kane and Bridcutt on more occasions than not.

But with the end nearly in sight, there's plenty of people who think Phillips deserves another chance on the big stage and these are games he could really prove himself to be a top player.

Modou Barrow

On-loan Swansea winger Modou Barrow really hasn't featured as much as we might have thought when he made the switch in January.

His form has been erratic and when given the chance to shine, he's been a little underwhelming.

But we've seen him terrorise some of the Premier League's most formidable defenders in the past and if Leeds find things tough over the next couple of weeks, he's a great option to throw on in the hope he can wield some success going down the wing.
