It’s been a busy start to the summer for Middlesbrough, with Tony Pulis preparing his side for a second successive year back in the Sky Bet Championship.

Failure to win promotion last season will still hurt, however, Boro’s supporters have to be encouraged by Pulis’ swift work in the transfer window.

Paddy McNair and Aden Flint have arrived, with that duo high-profile captures.

Flint joins a number of impressive centre-backs at the Riverside Stadium, with the 29-year-old set to be competing with the likes of Daniel Ayala and Ben Gibson, who were Pulis’ first choice last season.

The latter, Gibson, is highly-rated, not just at Boro, but also in the English game, with the defender linked with a move away from the Riverside Stadium.

Following Flint’s arrival, we wanted to find out if Boro’s supporters were confident that Gibson would still be around next season, or if the club would sell.

Boro’s supporters aren’t overly confident that Gibson will still be around next season, with only 25% of voters in our poll backing the 25-year-old to still be at the Riverside next season.

The other 75% are expecting Gibson to be on the move ahead of the new season, which would be extremely disappointing.
