Derby County will be looking to defy the odds and book their place in the Sky Bet Championship play-off final on Wednesday night, as they prepare to face Leeds United at Elland Road.

The Whites take a 1-0 lead back to Elland Road after winning at Pride Park on Saturday - Kemar Roofe's second half strike being the only thing to separate the two sides, despite Derby's late shout for a penalty.

Now, Frank Lampard's side will be looking to get the better of Bielsa's men at the fourth time of asking, having failed on three occasions already this term, with so much at stake at this crucial stage of the campaign.

If he hadn't already this season, Lampard will have learnt a lot about his side on Saturday afternoon, and having failed to beat Bielsa's men on three different occasions now, he will definitely be looking for improvements next time out.

At the weekend, his side lost the midfield battles, failed to threaten in the wide areas, and their striker, David Nugent, was marked out of the game by Gaetano Berardi and Liam Cooper, who both won numerous aerial duels.

Jack Marriott replaced Nugent just after the hour mark, and almost immediately, the Rams looked to threaten in behind, which is largely down to the former Peterborough striker's movement and pace up top.

It has been a turbulent season for the 24-year old at Pride Park - his first half of the season was hugely impressive, scoring 10 goals in 25 appearances for the Rams, but has failed to find the back of the net since early January.

He has been in and out of the starting line-up at the expense of Martyn Waghorn, and his season now looks to be fizzling out as Derby look to ignite a comeback against the Whites.

Lampard's side need to be at it right from the off on Wednesday night, as they simply need to go for the win, and having Marriott's pace on the counter could cause real problems for Marcelo Bielsa's men.
