It's set to be an interesting summer for Derby County as they go into a new era under first time manager Frank Lampard.

The Rams have made what some see as a risky appointment in the former England midfielder, and it remains to be seen just how the Chelsea legend will take to his first managerial role.

The pressure will be on, but Lampard is a confident man, and he will have faith in his ability to bring the best out of his squad, while he will also be confident of making a few vital additions this summer to strengthen the ranks at Pride Park.

One player we at FLW think would be a superb addition for Lampard's Rams is current Bristol City utility man Joe Bryan, who has been in superb form for a number of seasons now, amassing in excess of 200 appearances for the Robins.

Bryan has developed himself into one of the most consistent performers outside of the Premier League, and it will not be long before big money bids come flying in for the 24-year-old.

While predominantly a left back, Bryan can cover numerous positions, and he would fit right in for Derby and their ways of playing.

Quick, good on the ball, and versatile, Bryan would be a superb addition for the Rams in what is a vital summer in the transfer market.

Derby fans, what do you think? Good signing? Let us know in the comments!
