Derby County are looking good to make the top six at the moment and seem capable of doing that too.

The Rams got themselves a vital three points last time out thanks to two late Harry Wilson goals and that followed on from a draw against Birmingham on Good Friday.

They remain well in with a chance of making the play-offs, then, but one slight cloud over things at the moment is Frank Lampard's FA charge for his conduct at St. Andrew's.

He confronted the officials and suggested the Rams had been denied a penalty on Good Friday, and the FA has since decided to charge him for those comments.

A setback, then, for the Rams' boss but it appears as though he remains surprised by the fact that he has been dealt such a punishment.

Quoted by Sky Sports' Rob Dorsett, he said:

The Verdict

Lampard is right to an extent, he - like everyone else - is only human and when a decision is felt to go against you it can really rile you up.

He has been charged by the FA now, though, and so it seems as though some sort of sanction will be on the way for the Rams boss.

A bit of a setback, then, but it should not impact results on the pitch.
