Football League pundit Adam Virgo has taken to Twitter in order to back outgoing Blackburn boss Paul Lambert for the vacant roles at either Celtic or Derby County.
The Scotsman yesterday announced he would be calling time on his short time in charge of the Ewood Park outfit at the end of the season, prompting suggestions he could be set for a return to Glasgow.
A hugely popular player there, the 46-year old won nine major honour across his eight years as a tenacious midfielder at Parkhead.
With the Celtic Park post set to be vacated by Ronny Deila at the end of the campaign, he’s been strongly touted as a potential candidate in what would no doubt be an emotional return.
However Virgo, a former Hoops star himself, has suggested the ex-Aston Villa and Norwich chief could also be a candidate for the job at Derby County.
Paul Lambert will leave Blackburn at the end of the season. Only Derby or Celtic would be jobs he would leave Blackburn for.

Though Darren Wassell was handed the reigns following the departure of Paul Clement in March, the pundit has backed the former Scottish international.
Where would Lambert best fit in – Celtic or Derby? Or neither?
