‘Lacking confidence’ – Many Nottingham Forest fans react to 33-year-old’s display vs Norwich

Nottingham Forest endured a frustrating Wednesday night in the Sky Bet Championship, losing 2-0 to Norwich City at the City Ground.
The Reds are now winless in their last five games and have scored only two goals in that time, and were given a bit of footballing lesson against Norwich last night.
The Canaries made it nine wins on the spin and restored their 10-point lead at the top of the Championship.
Teemu Pukki fired low into the bottom corner on 10 minutes, and moments later, Kieran Dowell made it 2-0 when he volleyed past Jordan Smith.

Forest did make slight improvements in the second half, but Lewis Grabban was guilty of wasting a big chance when he was slipped through on goal by James Garner.
Tim Krul was quickly off his line to smother the danger, though, as Norwich kept another clean sheet.
Here, we take a look at Forest fans’ reactions to Grabban’s performance after what was a frustrating return to the side for the striker…
Yh He’s defo not a captain, but he doesn’t choose to have the armband, need to be looking at the coaching staff as to why he has it.

Must be a contractual thing.

Said it for months. Not vocal or commanding enough.

Just never looks interested to me 🤷🏼♀️

Grabban has to seriously look at himself in the mirror and I don’t care if he’s just come back from injury, any other striker shoots first time or doesn’t take the extra touches to give the keeper any chance of getting to the ball. #NFFC

Has Grabban got that shot off yet? #nffc

I hate to be too down on individual but there can be anyone who looks more out of place wearing the captain's armband than Lewis Grabban #NFFC

Let’s not get it twisted, Norwich are a good side and worthy winners.
I just wish we looked like we even gave a shit. Losing patience with Grabban now as well.#NFFC— 𝙆𝙞𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙣 ☆ (@kieranthekiz) March 17, 2021
Lacking confidence. Something Grabban needs maybe more than others. Confident Grabban first time hit.
