Portsmouth have had a great run of form over the last few weeks and have won their last eight matches in all competitions.
Pompey aren’t just going well in the league, they’re also on a good run in the FA Cup and having beaten Barnsley 4-2 in the last round, Kenny Jackett’s side will face Premier League giants Arsenal at Fratton Park in the fifth round.
Portsmouth released ticket prices for the fixture with Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal side. Adult tickets for the game will cost £26 per person, whilst concessions go from £20 to as low as £8 for junior members of the club.
This has seen an increase in £2 from the previous round when Jackett’s side dismantled Barnsley in front of the Fratton Park faithful.
The announcement has drawn a mixed reaction from fans of the South Coast club, with some understanding the decision and others suggesting the club are in the wrong.
Here’s how supporters of Portsmouth reacted to the news that there would be an increase in the price of tickets for the FA Cup fixture with Arsenal…

£26 for an FA Cup game that’s also on TV. £50 for 2 FA Cups games. Greed & poor IMO.

Why bother banging on about the price. If you can’t afford it stay home and watch it on tv, football clubs are businesses looking for profit not charities, you may not like it but that’s the way it is!

I'm glad I won't have to buy an adult ticket…

Good to see consistency been put in place again 🧐

Did @Pompey learn noting from the last cup game.

Whilst I understand where your coming from I don't think a £2 price rise is unreasonable considering the interest in this match.
