Another week begins and already in League Two, there has been some frantic transfer action.

We start our round-up with a huge signing for a side sure to be challenging for a top two spot this season, Plymouth Argyle.

Danny Mayor

Plymouth have pulled off a huge transfer coup by snatching winger Danny Mayor from recently-promoted Bury.

It's not such a shock he's left Bury, they're in dire straights financially and he already confirmed he was leaving. The shock is he hasn't be tempted to a League One club.

He had been in talks with Ipswich, but has chosen to remain loyal to former Bury boss Ryan Lowe, now at Home Park.

Paul Digby

Former Ipswich defender Paul Digby is one his way out of Forest Green Rovers, with Gloucestershire Live suggesting he's closing in on a move to Stevenage.

He's one year into a two-year deal at the New Lawn, but now seems as though he's going to join Dino Maamria's play-off hopefuls.

Lee Angol

Shrewsbury striker Lee Angol has signed for League Two new boys Leyton Orient for an undisclosed fee.

Angol has previously had spells with Mansfield Town and Luton Town, as well as twice being on loan at Lincoln City as they lifted a trophy; the National League in 2017 and League Two last season.

He signs a two-year deal at Brisbane Road.

Omar Sowunmi

Colchester United are reported to have signed Yeovil Town defender Omar Sowunmi on a two-year contract.

Yeovil Town news site Ciderspace report that the towering centre back has left Huish Park following their relegation to the National League.

He'll join Colchester as a replacement for Frankie Kent, who left for Peterborough last week.

Jacob Blyth

Macclesfield Town have signed striker Jacob Blyth following his release by National League side Barrow.

The former Leicester man had two seasons north of the border with Motherwell, but scored just three times in 24 outings last season.
