Transfer business in League Two has been slow of late, with the clubs in the basement division often playing a waiting game as players lower their sights.

That's not to say the market has ground to a halt, some clubs are able to get business over the line and, in the case of Bradford City, impressive business at that.

We begin our round-up of the day's news at Valley Parade.

Paudie O'Connor

Bradford City have captured Leeds defender Paudie O'Connor, he signs a three-year deal, as confirmed by the club's official site.

The youngster spent the latter stages of last season on loan at Valley Parade, but only found his feet in the final nine matches as Gary Bowyer took over.

Bowyer, who also signed O'Connor on loan at Blackpool last season, was one of the main reasons O'Connor made the move.

"Gary and I have a great relationship," he told the club's official site. "We complement each other well and I understand his demands."

George Maris

Cambridge United are resigned to losing former Barnsley man George Maris, despite offering him a new deal this summer.

The Cambridge News reports that although a 'competitive offer' is still available to Maris at the Abbey Stadium, they fully expect the 23-year-old to leave the club when his contract ends on June 30th.

Alex Fletcher

Plymouth Argyle's young striker Alex Fletcher has penned a new deal with the club, as reported by their official club site.

Fletcher, who made four League One appearances last season, found his chances limited due to the form of 18-goal Freddie Ladapo.

The Newton Abbott-born striker signs a one-year deal under new manager Ryan Lowe, as they face up to life back in League Two.

Shaun Miller

Crewe Alexandra boss David Artell has told Cheshire Live that's he's had lots of interest in striker Shaun Miller, but as yet no firm offers.

The 31-year-old is on the transfer list at his own request, having struggled to break into the side last season.

He's previously played for Morecambe, Carlisle and Coventry, as well as having a short spell with Sheffield United.
