As we near the end of June, teams are back in pre-season training and new faces keep on arriving.

It's been a busy day across the EFL, with lots of transfer action to round-up, as well as a rumour or two.

We start our look back at the day with a collapsed transfer for Ipswich Town.

Bartosz Bialowski

Ipswich Town stopper Bialowski has seen his proposed move to Championship side Millwall collapse, as reported by the News Shopper.

Bialowski was due to make the switch to Millwall, agreeing on personal terms and having the two clubs settling on a fee.

A late complication with his medical has caused the move to fall apart and him to return to Portman Road, for now.

Freddie Ladapo

Rotherham have completed the club-record signing of Plymouth striker Freddie Ladapo for £500,000.

He bagged 19 goals in all competitions last season, but couldn't prevent the Pilgrims tumbling out of League One on the final day of the season.

He had been a target for Sunderland, but the Millers moved quickly to secure his services.

Matty Done

Rochdale face Coventry

Done has penned a new two-year deal to remain at Spotland as they embark on another season of survival in League One.

The 30-year-old's contract had expired, but after making 210 appearances for them over two spells, he's set for a prolonged stay.

He played 36 times last season, scoring twice.

Aaron Pierre

Shrewsbury have snared the services of former Northampton and Wycombe defender Aaron Pierre, as reported by the BBC.

The 26-year-old played 60 times for the Cobblers over a two-year period, but has now swapped League Two for League One.

He pens a three-year deal with Salop, joining Ethan Ebanks-Landell as a new face at the back.
