League One has seen another busy day of action as we move closer to the big kick off.

Sunderland hadn't been busy in the market, up until today. They've now dipped their toes in the water with a first summer signing, which is where we start our daily round-up.

Connor McLaughlin

Sunderland have added Northern Ireland international Conor McLaughlin to their ranks, their first capture of the summer.

The 27-year-old played much of his football for Fleetwood Town, moving to Millwall in the summer of 2017.

He made 32 appearances in two seasons at the Den.

Tarique Fosu

Oxford United have bagged winger Tarique Fosu from Charlton Athletic.

The 23-year-old pens a three-year deal, with the two clubs agreeing on a compensation package. He was out of contract at the Valley, but Lee Bowyer offered him a new deal meaning any potential buyer would have to pay something.

He's previously played for manager Karl Robinson when he was in charge at the Valley.

Liam Scales

UCD defender Liam Scales is set to swap Ireland for the south west with a move to Bristol Rovers.

Dublin Live report that Graham Coughlan's side have made contact with UCD about the 19-year-old, who could join his new club as early as next week as they embark on a short pre-season Irish tour.

Mark Milligan

Southend United have pulled off a coup of sorts by bagging Australia captain Mark Milligan on a one-year deal.

The 33-year-old can operate in defence or midfield and arrives after a stint in the SPFL with Hibernian.

He's been capped 79 times by the Socceroos and is a three-time A-League winner in his native country.
