Brighton and Hove Albion have this afternoon announced that they have released six players, including goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak.
32-year-old Kuszczak signed for the Seagulls in 2012 and went on to make 84 appearances, 41 of those coming last season.
The former Manchester United shot-stopper had been first choice but after the resignation of manager Oscar Garcia earlier this week he was clearly deemed surplus to requirements.
Other players who have not been offered new contracts at the club are Peter Brezovan, Will Hoskins, Andrea Orlandi, David Lopez and David Rodriguez.
Meanwhile, Brighton Player of the Season Matthew Upson has been offered a new deal at the Amex. The former England international has made 61 appearances since joining the team in 2013.
