The Addicks started the season in fine fashion, carrying on the momentum from their play-off winning campaign in League One last season, however it soon fizzled out.

Lee Bowyer’s side currently sit in the relegation zone in the Championship in 22nd spot, two points adrift of safety with nine games of the season left to play.

It’s not just been on the pitch that the Addicks have had to contend with hardship this season, with off-field matters causing havoc at the south London club.

The side are effectively going through a civil war, as Nimer and Southall battle for control of the club.

With football paused at the moment, naturally fans are taking stock of the players in their squad and whom may potentially be moved on or sold this summer.

Lyle Taylor is one Charlton player who could potentially be shifted in the transfer window, with the former AFC Wimbledon man one of the club’s most prized assets having had considerable interest in him back in January, most notably from London rivals Brentford.

If he was to leave, Macauley Bonne could have the burden of scoring Charlton’s goals next season and it’s something that has stirred debate on social media.
