Cardiff City boss Neil Warnock has received a nomination for the November Manager of the Month award, after leading his side to victory in three of their four fixtures.

The Bluebirds opened the month with a tough defeat to Bristol City, before consecutive wins over Brentford, Barnsley and Nottingham Forest.

The club’s excellent run of form has seen them rise to second place in the table, and six points clear of promotion rivals Bristol City in the race for a top-two finish.

Warnock has transformed his side into contenders this season after many had touted the club as mid-table minnows, and thirteen wins from twenty matches has seen them keep pace with league leaders Wolves, who sit just four points ahead of the Welsh side.

Fans are beginning to believe that their side could taste Premier League football once again, after relegation from the top flight in 2014 following a single year at the higher level.

Fans took took to Twitter to have their say on Warnock’s nomination, with many fearing the dreaded curse of the monthly award…
