Wales qualified for the Euro 2020 with a 2-0 win over Hungary at the Cardiff City Stadium on Tuesday evening.

Ryan Giggs' side came into the game knowing that a win would be enough to pip the Hungarians to the automatic qualification spot in Group E.

They did just that with a brace from Aaron Ramsey proving to be enough for Wales, as they finished second in the group, with Croatia being three points ahead of them.

One player that played his part in their qualification was Kieffer Moore, with the Wigan striker scoring in Wales' previous game against Azerbaijan.

/B5EMzotFk-5/">Moore took to Instagram following the win over Hungary, and expressed his delight at booking their place in the European Championships next year.

Moore has struggled in front of goal for Wigan Athletic this season though, with the 27-year-old having just one goal to his name to date.

Paul Cook's side are currently sat 20th in the Championship table, and will know that results have to improve at the earliest of opportunities, with the Latics winless in their last four league games.

Moore is next in action for Wigan this weekend when they take on Stoke City in a game where both sides will be looking to pull clear of the relegation zone heading into the potentially season-defining festive period.

The Verdict:

He'll be delighted to play his part in their qualification for Euro 2020.

Moore hasn't been at his clinical best for Wigan this season, but has popped up with some crucial goals for Wales recently, which has seen them book a place in the European Championships next year.

He'll know that he has to improve his form in front of goal in club football for the remainder of this year's campaign though if he's to stand a chance of being included in Ryan Giggs' squad.
