Kieffer Moore will be hoping that he can hit a good run of form in front of goal for Wales in Euro 2020, after making a positive start for his country at the weekend.

The Cardiff City forward netted Wales' equaliser in their 1-1 draw against Switzerland in their opening match of the tournament, where there were plenty of positives to take from their performance.

Wales fell behind after 49 minutes, but Moore netted their first goal of the Euros to spark jubilant scenes from their supporters, both in the stadium and in attendance in households across the country.

Moore was a regular in the Cardiff City team last season, as he went on to make 42 appearances in all competitions for Mick McCarthy's side.

The Welsh forward netted 20 goals for the Bluebirds in the 2020/21 season, and he'll be hoping he can build on a strong start at the Euros, as they look to progress into the knockout stages of the competition.

Moore took to Instagram following the draw with Switzerland, and was evidently pleased to pick up a point in their opening match of the tournament.

Moore and his Wales team-mates are set to return to action on Wednesday, when they take on Turkey, in what is likely to be a closely-fought battle between both teams.

The Verdict:

It's great to see him on the scoresheet for his country on one of the biggest stages in international football.

Moore has really impressed me in the Championship with Cardiff City, and I think he'll have an important role to play in their push for a top-six finish next season, whilst under the management of Mick McCarthy.

He'll know that he's going to have to be in good form throughout the season as well, with the Bluebirds also signing James Collins earlier this summer, as they look to provide much-needed competition for McCarthy's men, as they head towards the 2021/22 league campaign.

If Moore can stay fit throughout the season, then Cardiff will have a serious chance of winning promotion back into the Premier League.
