Championship action may have paused as the World Cup prepares to get underway in Qatar this weekend, but fortunately action in League One and League Two continues.

It looks set to be an interesting clash in the fourth tier, too, as Grimsby Town prepare to host high-flying Stevenage.

Grimsby sit 14th in the division without a win in their last three matches, whilst their opponents are second, just three points behind table-topping Leyton Orient at this stage of the season.

Indeed, it looks set to be an intriguing match up. Can Grimsby put an end to their poor recent run in the league? Or, can Stevenage close the gap to Orient?

With that said, here at FLW, we've predicted the Grimsby XI we think could be deployed by Paul Hurst at Blundell Park this weekend.

The above line up is what we have selected, although with Paul Hurst confirming two fresh injury blows and players are unavailable for him this weekend, whilst not revealing who, it is almost certain to not be 100% accurate.

In our line up, Grimsby revert to a 4-1-4-1 formation, with Max Crocombe keeping his place inbetween the sticks.

At centre-back, Andy Smith is likely to line up, with Luke Waterfall alongside him.

Flanking them on the left in our line up is Anthony Driscoll-Glennon, whilst on the right hand side of defence Michee Efete could be selected.

Anchoring things in midfield, we've gone for Kieran Green in our line up, whilst Gavan Holohan and Bryn Morris partner him in the centre of the park.

Out wide on the left, Otis Khan adds the width, whilst on right right, Harry Clifton could be the man selected.

Leading the line in attack, we've opted for Brandon Kiernan after the 30-year-old lead the line for Grimsby against Doncaster last week.
