Wolves saw their lead at the top of the Championship cut to nine points in the week and the league leaders face a difficult trip to in-form Fulham this weekend.

The Cottagers have won their last seven games at home and will be desperate for three points as they look to make a late push for the second automatic spot.

And, Wolves left wing-back Barry Douglas has called on the fans to keep supporting and backing the players ahead of the tough game.

The Black Country side will be backed by a healthy away following, with around 4,500 expected at Craven Cottage. That follows on from 5,600 making the last away trip to Preston North End.

However, despite a near sell-out in the week for Norwich, there was a tense atmosphere around Molineux that may have impacted the players, with Norwich snatching a point with the last kick of the game.

Although, as tomorrow is an away game there will be a lot less pressure on the Wolves players but Douglas is clearly hoping the fans help the side out.

The Verdict

Wolves have had tremendous support this season, as you would expect given the football they're playing and their position in the league.

It has been particularly impressive on the road and there is another big following making the trip tomorrow even though the game is on TV.

As Douglas says, the fans can inspire the team and Wolves will need all the help they can get tomorrow as a trip to Craven Cottage is an extremely difficult fixture at the minute.
