West Brom forward Jay Rodriguez reckons Albion have goals all across the team as they gear up for Friday's local derby against Birmingham City.

Darren Moore has been tasked with changing the style of play at The Hawthorns, after years of defensive football under Tony Pulis.

And, it appears to be working, with the Baggies the top scorers in the Championship, having netted 15 times in six games, which includes the 7-1 thumping over QPR.

Rodriguez has been crucial to that, leading the line well and weighing in with four goals.

However, he told the Express & Star that the depth in the squad will be crucial in what will be a long, demanding season.

"If you look at the people that have scored, it’s not just one or two players. We’ve got a group of lads that can score at any point."

"We have a lot of attacking options. If you have a team that anyone can score in, it’s really good. We’ve worked on that and it’s showing."

"We’re creating a lot of chances, and scoring a lot of goals. I think it’s credit to the lads and to the staff that have put the system in place."

The Verdict

There's no doubt that Moore has changed the style of play this season and it's clearly working given the goals they are scoring.

Moore is doing well to get the most out of his attacking players and the partnership between Rodriguez and Dwight Gayle could be the best in the league.

Now it's about playing with this attacking purpose and style consistently, starting against Blues on Friday.
