Millwall have been resurgent in recent weeks having won their last two matches and recorded three wins in their last five, too.

Neil Harris’ side have won three in a row at The Den, picking up 14 of their 16 points in the capital.

It is there away from that has been the problem - just two draws this term and no wins on the road will remind the club’s supporters of last year where it took them until the middle of January to get their first away win.

The Lions will be hoping that winless run comes to an end this weekend when they head across London to take on Brentford at Griffin Park.

The Bees have lost four of their last six matches with new manager Thomas Frank still waiting for his first win since taking over on a permanent basis since the departure of Dean Smith.

As the season rolls on and November starts, the Lions will be looking to get off the mark away from home and record a third consecutive win to move even further away from the drop zone.

So with that said, here is the Millwall XI Harris must field against Brentford on Saturday afternoon.

Ben Amos has been able to keep Jordan Archer out of the side and has been impressive in recent weeks and got his first clean sheet of this season, and Millwall’s second in last weekend's win over Ipswich Town.

The flying right-back offers a lot going forward but needs to sharpen up on his defending.

It is improving, but with his threat going forward vital in how Millwall play, he needs to play again this weekend.

Starting his first game since the middle of August, it was no surprise his involvement saw a positive outcome form the match.

It is vital he starts once more if Millwall are to continue their recent upturn in form.

The player with the most assists in the league so far this season has been vital in both boxes for Millwall and needs to start again to once again get his centre-half partnership with Shaun Hutchinson back to it’s best.

Having played in the heart of the defence for much of the season, he has played himself in to form, and Neil Harris has been reluctant to leave him out the side.

Dislodging James Meredith from the left-back spot having played there for 61 consecutive league matches, he needs to start once more to allow continuity to breed confidence in the Lions’ back line.

With Jed Wallace a doubt, it is either going be to Jiri Skalak himself or Aiden O’Brien who starts.

And with the Czech Republic international doing well during the win over Ipswich, there is a need to allow him to start more to find some form that has been absent since his summer move from Brighton.

Since moving from Sheffield United, Ryan Leonard has settled into the middle of Millwall’s midfield perfectly and notched his first goal for the club in the win over Ipswich last weekend.

He is sure to start alongside Shaun Williams as their partnership gets even better.

The Ireland international is the lynchpin in the Millwall midfield and is integral in launching the Lions’ attacks as well as breaking up play in the middle of the park.

He needs to start alongside Ryan Leonard on Saturday to continue the confidence both have alongside one another.

Coming in from the cold to start Millwall’s last five matches Shane Ferguson has scored once and set up two goals. His upturn in form has coincided with the Lions', too.

He needs to start for Neil Harris if they are to get anything this weekend.

Tom Elliott picked up a dead leg in the win over Ipswich and could be a doubt for the trip across London this weekend.

With the striker a doubt, Steve Morison needs to start ahead of the 27-year-old to allow him to rest a little more and come on as a substitute if needed.

Millwall’s top scorer with five goals has been in sensational form this season, not only on the ball but more notably off it.

Lee Gregory leads from the front and hustles opposition defenders giving them no rest.

It is how Neil Harris wants his forwards to play, and the Millwall striker does that in abundance and needs to play on Saturday.
