Huddersfield Town are sweating on the fitness of Josh Koroma ahead of tomorrow night's meeting with Wycombe Wanderers in the Championship.

Carlos Corberan has revealed that Koroma has suffered a blow to his ribs and is feeling some soreness, which puts his involvement against Wycombe in doubt.

However, Corberan is refusing to rule Koroma out completely, with the Huddersfield boss sounding like he's willing to give the forward as much time as possible to recover.

He told his pre-match press conference: "The squad is in a good condition. The only player in doubt is Josh Koroma. He has a small issue, but will travel. We will make a decision tomorrow with him. If he feels ok he will be with the team."

Koroma, 22, has struck three goals in 12 appearances in the Championship this season and has been a mainstay in the side under Corberan.

Whilst he has a chance of making tomorrow night, Ben Hamer is still a week away from returning, whilst Pipa and Alex Pritchard will also be missing at Wycombe.

That pair are now in the final stages of their recovery.

The Verdict

This is going to be a blow for Huddersfield if they are without Koroma at Wycombe.

Despite scoring three goals on Saturday against Stoke and Koroma not getting his name onto the scoresheet, he carries the biggest goal threat in the Town squad.

Corberan will be desperate to get him available, but it's understandable why he's perhaps not willing to risk aggravating the injury further.
