Speaking to Norwich City's official website, manager Daniel Farke has been speaking about tonight's opponents Middlesbrough and certainly seems impressed by them.

The two sides meet tonight at The Riverside Stadium with Boro in the play-off places but they are only three points ahead of the Canaries who are in mid-table.

That, then, just goes to show the sheer competitiveness of the second tier once again this season, but Farke seems to think that Boro are going to be the team to watch for the rest of the campaign.

Indeed, it is of his opinion that his club's hosts tonight are the favourites for the Championship title, despite the likes of Leeds and Cardiff and Wolves current leading the way.

Farke said:

"Boro are favourites for the title and are in good shape and have good form at home this season."

For sure, then, the German will be thinking that it's going to be tough tonight on Teesside but he'll also surely be of the impression that if his side can get a result, they will be one of the sides to beat, too.

It remains to be seen, then, as to just how this game pans out tonight.

The Verdict

This promises to be a great game tonight on Teesside and both sides will feel as though they can win it.

Boro may be the title favourites according to Farke at least, but Norwich come into the game in good form, too, and so this one does look tough to call ahead of kick-off tonight.
