In that time the 28-year-old has been a regular started for Farke’s side and with a place in the Premier League now confirmed it seems that plans are now being put in place for the summer transfer window.
The Mirror claim that Norwich hold an option to sign Gibson for a fee of £8.5million this summer, and speaking to the press, Farke has seemingly confirmed that a permanent deal will now go ahead.
He said: “Stuart Webber (sporting director) will speak about this but Ben Gibson will be with us next season.”
