Leeds United's Izzy Brown is in line to make his first appearance of the season for the Whites, as he has been included in the squad for the trip to Middlesbrough.

Owner Andrea Radrizzani sent a tweet of the forward appearing to sing in front of the group as part of his initiation.

"...finally the time to sing for @izzyjaybrown welcome back ???????????????? your season starts tomorrow, all the best!"

The 22-year-old suffered a serious knee injury in January last year, which kept him out for the best part of 12 months.

However, he has been regularly involved for the U23s in the past month or so and has scored five goals in his past four appearances.

Therefore, Marcelo Bielsa has decided to give the Chelsea loanee a chance in the first-team today. Although, it appears unlikely that Brown will start today in what is a crucial game for the Yorkshire side.

Leeds lost top spot in the Championship after defeat at home to Norwich last week but will move back ahead of the Canaries with a point today.

The Verdict

This is great news for Leeds as Brown has proven himself to be a very good player at this level over the years.

As well as that, they are lacking something in the final third at the moment, so this is a very good timing for Bielsa.

It's also a big day for the player, who will be desperate to get back out on the pitch after a very tough year.
