Leeds United continued their miserable form after falling to a 2-1 defeat at home to Derby County last night.

The Whites took the lead through Pierre-Michel Lasogga but a Sam Winnall brace ensured the Rams keep up their fine recent form.

The winning goal came from a poor refereeing decision, with Hadi Sacko's foul on Craig Forsyth appearing to be outside the box. Nevertheless, the call was made and Winnall scored.

Understandably, fans were annoyed after the game, with defeat Leeds' fifth in six games. However, chairman Andrea Radrizzani took to twitter to share a positive message despite the defeat.

Whilst it's debatable about whether Leeds did play that well last night, it's good for the fans and players to see the chairman remaining positive.

Radrizzani backed Thomas Christiansen in the summer with many new faces coming in, but they haven't all hit the ground running yet.

The Whites will be seeking a much-needed win before the international break when they visit Brentford on Saturday in a game that has become very important for the boss.

The Verdict

Andrea Radrizzani has been very good for Leeds since his takeover but now supporters are just starting to worry a little bit.

His stance is clear going from those social media messages, he has every faith in those involved and that will be a big relief for Christiansen.

Ultimately, things won't calm down until results improve as that's what it is all about. Leeds need to end this dismal run as soon as possible, starting with Brentford.
