Huddersfield Town will have Ben Hamer back available tomorrow afternoon against Middlesbrough, but Carlos Corberan hasn't decided if the goalkeeper will return to the starting line-up.

Friday is Hamer's final day of isolation and he will be back available tomorrow for Huddersfield if Corberan wishes to use him against Boro.

However, with Joel Pereira and Ryan Schofield featuring in Town's last two games, Corberan isn't committing to Hamer returning to the side with such short notice.

Corberan told his press conference this lunchtime: "Hamer will be available on Saturday. We will see how he is feeling in the morning and go from there."

Additionally, Town will be without Christopher Schindler, who begins a six-day period of recovery from concussion tests, whilst Pipa and Alex Pritchard remain on the sidelines.

That pair are now in the final stages of their recovery and should return within days.

Huddersfield enter this game with just one win in their last seven, whilst Boro are flying high and chasing a place in the play-offs after their midweek win over Derby County.

The Verdict

It's a difficult decision regarding Hamer this weekend.

Schofield did well during the week against Wycombe, but Pereira struggled a few days before against Stoke; there's really little doubt about who Corberan's first choice is.

The issue is that Hamer hasn't trained all week and will only get a taste of training tomorrow morning before the game. Corberan admitted he's been staying fit, but it isn't quite the same as mingling with the senior group.

It's going to be a very, very late call.
