The former Chicago Fire chief has enjoyed a magnificent start to English football, guiding the Royals to four wins from their opening four league games.
His side appear to have a clear style of play and several new recruits, along with the emergence of a few talented youngsters have created a nice blend for Reading in the opening weeks.
However, Paunović remains open to potentially improving the group, as he explained to Reading Chronicle reporter Matt Joy how he feels up to three more additions would help and he also revealed he has been in contact with some potential signings.
“We have 3 spots on our senior roster, anything can happen. I’ve been approached by a couple of very interesting players who’re free agents. I know players will be eager to find options – we may be a good destination.”
Any deal for a player not contracted to a club will not have to be completed by tomorrow’s 5pm deadline.
