Pontus Jansson has stated that if Brentford keep doing the same things then it's going to come back to help them later in the season.

This comes after the Bees came back from two goals down to score three goals in the last ten minutes of the game and defeat Millwall at Griffin Park.

It was an excellent victory and one that showed the team spirit and fight within the Brentford side. On Tuesday night, they take on Swansea at the Liberty Stadium looking to take advantage of the Swans' recent poor form.

Jansson expressed the happiness that he felt when walking off the pitch on Saturday after a quite stunning comeback.

Speaking to Brentford's official club website, Jansson said: "It was an unbelievable feeling of course. It's nice to walk back to the dressing room seeing the smiles on everyone's faces. From the groundsmen, to the players and the staff working around the club, it feels nice.

"How many points have we lost in the last ten minutes during this season? I said to the boys, if we keep doing the same things and work hard then it's going to come back to us. Today, it came back with three points so I'm happy, and we will continue to work hard for the whole season."

The Verdict

Jansson is slowly but surely becoming a really instrumental player in this Brentford side since his move from Leeds in the summer. At the time it was a shock move, but now he's settled in, he can try and help the Bees push up the table.

It could be a victory that really inspires them to go on and do better this season after what has been a really inconsistent start to the campaign. Thomas Frank will want to see the kind of spirit that he saw on Saturday again this Tuesday.

Sitting 13th in the table, the season could really go one way or another, and it's about finding that consistency in their performances to push up the league.
