Blackburn have had a solid start to the season in the Sky Bet Championship and one man revelling in his new surroundings is Bradley Dack.

One of the shining lights last season for Rovers in League One, many were excited to see how he was going to adapt to the second tier.

So far, then, he has done an immaculate job of doing so and now it would seem that he is attracting serious attention from other clubs.

Indeed, there's been much speculation in recent months around the player and now Rovers' chief executive Steve Waggott has confirmed that bids were received.

Via the Lancashire Telegraph, he said:

"We had a few offers for Dacky which were well chronicled and we have to keep our best players and build around them.

"It shows we respect the efforts they have put in for the club, keep them highly motivated and lock them in."

Clearly, Dack is a player in demand but Rovers hold the cards at the moment and do not need to sell him anytime soon.

The Verdict

It's no surprise that this is the case for a player of Dack's quality.

He's clearly one of the better players in the second tier - as he was in the third last season - and he'll be eyeing a Premier League crack at some point in his career.

For now, though, he appears more than content at Ewood Park and the club seems relatively assured in their chances of keeping him for now.
