Barnsley assistant manager Dale Tonge has revealed that the Tykes have no fresh injury concerns ahead of the weekend after winning promotion, reports Andy Giddings of the BBC.
But he did jokingly say that they are still struggling with 'sore heads' after their promotion back to the second-tier was confirmed without even playing on Tuesday night.
Fellow top-two chasers Portsmouth and Sunderland were both defeated by Peterborough United and Fleetwood Town respectively to open up a big enough gap, with members of the squad hitting the town straight away.
Barnsley still have a chance of winning the third-tier title as well with both themselves and Luton Town currently sat on 91 points, with the Hatters boasting a slightly better goal difference.
Saturday evening sees Daniel Stendel's side travel to Bristol Rovers whilst Mick Harford welcomes Oxford United to Kenilworth Road for his last match in charge of the club.
The verdict
It is no surprise at all to hear there are a few sore heads within the Barnsley camp.
And who can begrudge them celebrating? They have been excellent throughout the entire campaign and more than deserve to cut lose.
Winning the title would of course be lovely but it ultimately doesn't really matter.
