Aston Villa are flying along nicely in the Championship now and they'll surely be a bit unhappy that the international break has come at the moment it has.

Indeed, after a poor start to the campaign the Villans are now really rocking and they kept their unbeaten run up at the weekend as they beat Bolton Wanderers.

For sure, then, the men from Villa Park are looking good at the moment and would probably like things to stay how they are but Dr. Tony Xia has hinted at change with this recent update on Twitter:

Certainly, there's been plenty of change in the game over the last few years with things like manager's positions quickly becoming under threat.

And, though we doubt Xia is talking about Steve Bruce's job, he could be talking about more expansive changes to do with the game and it going more global, which would cause debate.

It's certainly a cryptic tweet, though, and so it would make sense to not speculate on what Xia might mean, with it probably best to just wait and see what happens.

The Verdict

Xia is a good owner by the looks of things but he certainly loves a cryptic tweet and Villa fans will be wondering about what it could mean.

It may not be directly about their club, though, and this update could be more about the wider game going forwards - we shall see.
