Rotherham United have had an extremely tough start to this Sky Bet Championship campaign, and currently find themselves bottom of the table after picking up just one win from the opening thirteen league games.

Now Cardiff boss Neil Warnock performed miracles to keep the club up last year and with the club struggling to pick up points, during the early stages of this season it is already looking like another miracle will be needed if The Millers are to survive again this term.

The club are currently without a manager after Alan Stubbs received his marching orders earlier this week, and it is clear that the next appointment will have a huge bearing on the clubs season.

It is clear that January will be a big month for The Millers as they look to bring in reinforcements to help in the relegation battle, and reinforcements in the striking department is likely to be high on the managers list.

This article is going to take a look at TWO strikers Rotherham United should really secure a deal for in January...

Omar Bogle

Powerful frontman Omar Bogle is someone who Rotherham United should 100% be taking a closer look at in the upcoming January transfer window.

The Millers have had a tough start to this season, and currently find themselves sitting bottom of the Sky Bet Championship table, after picking up just one win from the opening 12 league games, and it is clear that extra firepower is needed.

Bogle had a terrific campaign last season as Grimsby earned promotion to League Two through the National League play-offs, throughout that campaign Bogle smashed in 19 goals in just over 50 appearances.

His goal scoring exploits don't stop there, as the 23-year-old has carried his form over into the current League Two campaign. Bogle currently finds himself at the top of the League Two goalscoring charts after netting 9 times in the opening 12 games.

Paddy Madden

26-year-old Paddy Madden is someone who has a terrific goalscoring record in League One and is waiting for a chance to step up to the Championship, and prove he has what it takes to compete at a higher standard.

Back in the 2012-2013 campaign when playing for Yeovil Town Madden scooped up the League One golden boot award after netting 23 goals in 39 games on course to Yeovil, achieving a historic promotion to the 2nd tier of English football.

In the same year he was also named in the PFA League One Team of the Year.

Madden is now turning out for Scunthorpe United and has scored 40 goals for the club in the last two seasons, a quite remarkable record.

The Irishman is a good old fashioned goal poacher, his game is played within the perimeters of the penalty area and he will feed off any scraps that might fall his way.
