Rochdale have signed Tom Kenny for the third time in his career, according to teamtalk.
The defender was released by Barnsley last month but has been signed up by Rochdale on a contract lasting until January.
After originally joining the club back in 2007, the defender has gone on to make over 150 appearances during his three year spell and he was part of the team which won promotion to the Sky Bet League One in 2010.
He then joined Leicester on a free transfer later that summer but soon returned to the Spotland Stadium the following November for a three-month loan spell.
Kennedy, along with manager Keith Hill, then made a switch to Oakwell in 2012 and went on to make 75 appearances for the Reds.
But he is now reunited with the current Dale boss and is the club’s second signing in just two days following Stephen Dawson’s arrival to the side.
