Leeds United striker Kemar Roofe has been showing off his match preparation before the club's clash with Swansea City on Wednesday night.

Taking to Instagram, Roofe revealed his use of a cryogenic chamber, a device used to aid the recovery of muscles, along with a message to the fans.

"Final bit of prep in the Cryo before we are under the lights tomorrow," Roofe wrote alongside a series of pictures of his treatment.

Roofe made the move to Leeds from Oxford United back in 2016 and has gone on to make 114 appearances for the club, scoring 32 goals.

Marcelo Bielsa's side will be desperate to pick up all three points against the Swans at Elland Road given their recent run of form.

The Whites have won just twice in their last seven matches, being toppled off top-spot in the process by Norwich City.

A dramatic last-gasp equaliser against Middlesbrough last weekend could well inspire some confidence, however, as they look to consolidate their place in the top-two.

The verdict

This is an interesting insight from Roofe and shows how focused the players remain on the task in hand.

A pessimist could read in to this as Bielsa's training sessions taking their toll on the players once again but I do not think that is the case.

If anything, it is simply the player's way of coping with the high demands, and if it works, fantastic!
