Kemar Roofe has sent a message to Leeds United fans after completing his move to Anderlecht.
The striker made his Elland Road exit on Tuesday and signed a three-year deal with the Belgian club.
Roofe joined the Whites in July 2016 and scored 33 goals and provided 14 assists in 122 appearances for the club.
The 26-year-old only had one year left on his deal with the Whites and had been linked with a move away from the club earlier this summer.
Following his departure, Roofe

He thanked the club for “an incredible three years” and said the support he has received from fans since day one “has been unbelievable”.
Roofe added that he had “absolutely no doubt” that the club would return the Premier League soon, noting that it was they "have always belonged”.
He finished: “Despite having some unfortunate injuries, I always gave my all for the shirt, and Leeds will always have a place in my heart”.
Despite Roofe’s absence, Leeds began their season in style on the weekend, outclassing Bristol City in a 3-1 victory at Ashton Gate.

The Verdict
Leeds have a very passionate fanbase and it is no surprise to see the forward send a heartfelt message as he leaves on good terms.
Roofe’s exit may be a sore one for many fans of the Yorkshire club. The striker has been the Whites’ top-scorer over the past two seasons, scoring 29 goals despite spending time on the sideline due to injury.
It leaves Marcelo Bielsa with Patrick Bamford and Tyler Roberts as the only striking options in his senior squad and I would be surprised if another forward is not added before the transfer window closes.
