The feel-good factor around Leeds United will be starting to creep back in after a poor run of form saw them lose valuable points in recent weeks.

A hard-fought win over Swansea last week was the perfect time to find an all-important three points.

But bad news hit the Leeds United camp, with Kemar Roofe set for a spell on the sidelines with a knee ligament injury picked up in the win over the Swans.

A return date for the striker hasn't been set, but it has been revealed that he is still at the club's training ground with the first-team.

In a post on his Instagram account, Roofe compared team-mate, Kalvin Phillips to a former Darts legend as the midfielder enjoyed some free time at the club's training ground.

Phillips has been impressive for the majority of this season, and he'll be hoping to play his part in Leeds' promotion push this season.

Whilst Roofe will be keen to return from injury at the earliest of opportunities, as his goals have seen the Whites challenging for the title in the first place.

He'll leave a notable void in the starting XI for Marcelo Bielsa's side, and the Leeds boss will be hoping he can return to action as quickly as possible.

The injury list at Leeds is seemingly never-ending, with Izzy Brown and Patrick Bamford both recently returning to action which will be pleasing to see for the Elland Road faithful.

The Verdict:

I'm not sure he's as good, but it's a big statement by Roofe.

It's good to see him involved with the first-team despite his latest injury, and I think that the feel-good factor is certainly there in the Leeds squad.

They will need to keep that togetherness present for the remainder of the season if they are to have any chance of winning a long-awaited promotion to the Premier League.
