Keith Andrews is set to have his season long loan spell with Watford terminated, says the Daily Star.

The Hornets signed the experienced midfielder in July, on loan for a season from fellow Championship side Bolton Wanderers, but looks set to head for the exit door after an argument with boss Slavisa Jokanovic.

The former West Brom midfielder has been left out in squad training, and spoke openly about his situation with Watford last Friday, when working as FL72 pundit for Watford's 5-0 thrashing against Fulham.

Fourth Watford manager of the season, Slavisa Jokanovic told the Watford Observer that it was his choice to leave Andrews out of the squad.

“I made the decision to separate him from the squad,” the former Chelsea midfielder confirmed.

“There are rules, I can only have five loan players in the squad and Keith didn’t understand this situation and other things,” the Serb added.

Since joining from the Trotters, Andrews has made eleven appearances for the Golden Boys and scored on one occasion.
