Daniel Farke has a job on his hands to get Norwich up the table and in contention for the Championship play-offs.

Last season was pretty forgettable for the East Anglian’s as they look to forget the previous campaign and focus on the what is to come.

Talisman James Maddison has moved to Leicester with Ben Marshall brought in to replace him.

Norwich have also added prolific Championship striker Jordan Rhodes to their ranks in the hope of scoring more goals they so desperately craved in the last few seasons.

For Norwich, however, the previous two years have been a transition since relegation from the Premier League.

With a squad facelift ongoing and some attractive purchases at Carrow Road, boss Farke will have to mould the individuals into a team.

And with any players coming in, there are inevitable departures to follow.

Here are a few Norwich players that still have the potential to stay or leave Carrow Road ahead of the new season.

The attacking midfielder is already out on loan to Hearts, so technically he has left the club, but he should do so on a permanent basis.

Having arrived from Everton while the Canaries were in the Premier League, the Scottish international has seen his Norwich career hit the rocks in recent times.

He doesn’t fit into Daniel Farke’s plans so they should bite the bullet and try and recoup some money for the 31-year-old who is so surplus to requirements.

Alex Tettey is a firm fans' favourite and has been a hit at Carrow Road since his arrival six years ago.

At 32, the midfielder is no spring chicken and might have a lesser role to play at Norwich next season.

But with ages, you should have a fair amount of experience. The defensive-minded player pleated 27 times last season for the Canaries.

Farke should keep hold of Tettey to calm his side down when needed, he knows how to do that and at this current stage in his career, he still has a lot to offer Norwich going forward.

Daniel Farke’s decision to leave the striker at home during a recent pre-season tour left some Norwich fans curious about the status of his Carrow Road future.

The boss’ decision was made to allow younger players to come through and showcase their talents during this pre-season.

If the Norwich manager has that idea before the season starts, what will his thoughts be once the campaign kicks-off?

Pre-season is about fitness and cohesion and if the striker is back in England and not with the core of the first-team, then what chances does he have?

With Jordan Rhodes arrival, Oliveira’s future could be in doubt so Farke should offload the forward should he find the striker surplus to requirements.
