Birmingham City manager Garry Monk kept his side afloat last season in the Championship with a dramatic final day win over eventual play-off winners Fulham.

And after retaining their status as a Championship club, Birmingham will be hoping for much better fortune in the upcoming campaign, with Monk currently running the rule over his squad in pre-season.
