Nottingham Forest picked up a crucial point with bitter rivals Derby County this weekend, and it's a point that helps Mark Warburton's men edge away from the Championship relegation zone.

The former Rangers man has to job of leading the East-Midlanders to safety with just a handful of games remaining this campaign, and many are tipping him to do just that with a few weeks left.

And it was a decent start this weekend, having drawn 2-2 with a Derby County side that recently appointed former Birmingham manager Gary Rowett at Pride Park.

But with the summer fast approaching, whatever happens at Forest, there are some big decisions to be made by Warburton when it comes to who should stay and who should go.

There are some quality players on the books at the Forest ground and some that are probably coming to the end of their tethers too.

So with that in mind, here's the lowdown on FIVE players Warburton needs to make a decision on whether to axe or keep this summer...

Matty Fryatt

Football League veteran Matty Fryatt is well-loved by many football fans in England but he's not done very well at all for Forest this season.

Now 31-years-old, he's yet to play for the Reds at all this campaign and with his deal set to expire at the end of the season, its likely he'll depart at the end of the season.

There will be other clubs at this level sniffing around him if he does move on though.

Chris Cohen

He's done slightly better than Fryatt this year, but club stalwart Chris Cohen has made just 11 starts for Forest this campaign.

Compared to what we've seen in the past from the Englishman, it's been pretty underwhelming but at this level on his day, he can be a very good player.

It's a slightly more difficult shout this one but we're opting to let Chris Cohen go on this occasion.

Ben Brereton

They love their young stars at Nottingham Forest and right now, none are shining brighter than young forward Ben Brereton, who endeared himself to the Forest faithful with an injury time winner against Aston Villa earlier this season.

It's been a solid breakthrough campaign from the 17-year-old, who has surpassed all expectation placed on his shoulders at the start of the season.

If there's one man Warburton should be looking to keep hold of at the end of the season, it's Brereton.
