When Odin Bailey headed in a dramatic winner for Birmingham City in their clash with Middlesbrough in October, he would have been hoping to use this particular moment as a springboard for further success.

However, since this fixture, the 19-year-old has struggled to make any further inroads on the Blues' side.

Although he has predominately been used as an attacking midfielder at youth level by Birmingham, Bailey is also capable of playing as a centre-forward.

With competitions for places high at St Andrew's, the Blues academy graduate has only been handed two cameo appearances by head coach Pep Clotet in the last six weeks.

Left out of the club's match-day squad for three of the last four Championship games, it will be intriguing to see whether Bailey is made surplus for requirements in the upcoming transfer window.

After Blues HQ asked their followers whether Bailey should be loaned out in January, these Birmingham fans offered their thoughts on the matter on Twitter.
