Plenty of Ipswich Town fans have taken to Twitter to react to the news that Jon Nolan has been linked with a move away from the club.

According to The Sun (as cited by the East Anglian Daily Times), Blackpool are reportedly ready to pay a significant fee in order to secure the services of the midfielder this month.

Since joining Ipswich from Shrewsbury Town in 2018 as part of a swap deal which include Toto Nsiala, Nolan has experienced a mixed amount of success at Portman Road.

Whilst the 27-year-old made a relatively positive start to the current campaign in League One, a drop-off in performance levels in recent weeks has resulted in him losing his place in the Tractor Boys' starting eleven.

Given that Nolan hasn't featured for Ipswich since their Boxing Day draw against Gillingham, it will be intriguing to see whether Lambert opts to let him leave the club.

Currently below the likes of Flynn Downes, Teddy Bishop, Cole Skuse and Emyr Huws in the Tractor Boys' pecking order, a move elsewhere may give the midfielder the opportunity to play regular first-team football between now and the end of the season.
